ChainThink report, April 19: Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, responded to a Tech Dev Notes post on the X platform, unveiling the subsequent iteration roadmap for the Grok model. Musk explicitly confirmed that Grok 4.3 has completed additional supplementary training;
Grok 4.4 will double its parameter count to 1T, with training data extended up to early April 2026, and is expected to be released in early May; Grok 4.5 will scale parameters to 1.5T, aiming for delivery by late May.
The Tech Dev Notes account previously indicated that the knowledge cutoff date for Grok 4.3 was December 2025.
Musk’s latest response also filled in previously unspecified model details—on April 18, his mention of the “true 1T flagship” refers specifically to Grok 4.4.
