The U.S. expects to receive Iran’s response on several key issues within the next 48 hours.
The U.S. proposal stipulates that Iran commits to suspending uranium enrichment activities. In return, Iran will resume operations in the Strait of Hormuz, while the U.S. lifts sanctions. A comprehensive nuclear deal will be negotiated at a later stage.
