ChainThink News, May 13: According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration's (EIA) Short-Term Energy Outlook report, the agency has revised its price forecasts for WTI crude oil and Brent crude oil in 2026 and 2027.
The 2026 WTI crude oil price forecast has been adjusted downward to $85.68 per barrel, down from the previous forecast of $87.41 per barrel; concurrently, the Brent crude oil price forecast for 2026 has been revised to $94.85 per barrel, down from the earlier projection of $96.00 per barrel.
The 2027 WTI crude oil price forecast has been updated to $74.39 per barrel, an upward revision from the prior forecast of $72.43 per barrel; similarly, the Brent crude oil price forecast for 2027 has been raised to $79.39 per barrel, up from the previous estimate of $76.09 per barrel.
