ChainThink report, May 27: According to public information, Ant Group's first self-developed AI eyewear, Willit, has officially launched on Taobao for sale, with the companion mobile application Willit AI simultaneously listed on app marketplaces.
Product details and business registration data indicate that the sales entity of Willit is Beijing Ant Zorolo Technology Co., Ltd., with Zhao Wenbiao, Senior Vice President of Ant Group and CEO of Ant Digital Science & Technology, serving as legal representative. The product enters the consumer-grade AI hardware market at an entry-level price point of 899 RMB, and over 1,000 units of the sunglasses variant have already been sold on the Taobao platform.
Willit comes in two versions: sunglasses and photochromic models, supporting functions including photography and video recording, voice calls and music playback, real-time translation, audio transcription, AI-powered conversations, and image recognition—wherein image recognition integrates practical use cases such as calorie detection. The flagship model includes advanced features like AI Q&A, personal assistant capabilities, and third-party service integration; however, store customer service confirmed that payment functionality has not yet been activated.
Operationally, Beijing Ant Zorolo Technology is 100% controlled by Beijing Lingzhou Technology, which serves as the core carrier of Ant Group’s trusted identity authentication platform, ZOLOZ;
The operator of the Willit AI application, Sas Digital Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., is wholly owned by Ant Shuodong Future (Beijing) Technology, with both entities having Zhao Wenbiao as their legal representative, underscoring Ant Group’s strategic emphasis on securing a consumer-grade AI hardware access point.
