Interview: ChainThink

The AI divination tool "LifeKline" has recently surged back into mainstream attention following coverage by the People's Daily and CCTV Online, with its namesake meme token becoming a top trending topic in today’s crypto community. Developed by X user @0xsakura666 (Sakura), the project combines Gemini 3 Pro with traditional Chinese BaZi astrology, visualizing life fortune trends in the form of K-line charts.

Since its launch in mid-December, the platform’s first social media post has garnered over 3 million views, and within three days, website visits and API call volume surpassed 300,000—sparking widespread discussion and numerous derivative creations.

In this interview, ChainThink engages with Sakura, founder of LifeKline, to explore the product’s design philosophy, technical architecture, the role of mysticism in the crypto ecosystem, and future roadmap.

Biography: Sakura, Founder of LifeKline, former researcher at ChainThink, a student at a prestigious 211 university, and a well-known figure in both divination and crypto circles.

ChainThink: Meme tokens associated with "LifeKline" have emerged on public chains like Solana and BSC, experiencing sharp price surges. Have you participated in or endorsed any of these tokens? What advice do you have for users?

Sakura:
I personally have not participated in, issued, or endorsed any meme tokens named after LifeKline. I appreciate the community’s enthusiasm and support. My focus remains on strengthening the core product—LifeKline was explicitly designed without tokenization from day one. The emergence of these tokens is simply a natural response to viral momentum, which is common in the crypto space.

It must be emphasized that these tokens have no official connection to LifeKline, nor are there any partnerships or revenue guarantees. My advice is clear: distinguish between a tool’s popularity and the intrinsic value of a financial asset. Do not automatically equate cultural virality with investment logic. Meme tokens are fundamentally emotional and narrative-driven instruments—they carry extreme risk and should be approached with caution.

ChainThink: LifeKline has gone viral twice within a month. What do you believe is the core reason behind this phenomenon?

Sakura:
On the surface, it’s the novel fusion of “AI + Divination + K-line,” but deeper down lies the chronic uncertainty anxiety prevalent in the crypto industry. The market operates 7×24 hours with no buffer mechanisms, forcing traders to constantly confront unquantifiable risks.

In such an environment, people instinctively seek interpretive frameworks. LifeKline isn’t spread because it “predicts accurately”—it spreads because it offers a sense of being interpreted. Users can discuss life or trading fluctuations in a lighter, more digestible way, avoiding direct confrontation with underlying anxiety. This emotional buffering and social resonance may matter more than predictive accuracy.

ChainThink: Transitioning from a ChainThink researcher to founder of LifeKline—how did your prior experience shape this journey?

Sakura:
The most valuable impact from my ChainThink tenure was in research methodology and the open, inclusive team culture that granted me significant autonomy. Conducting research there required continuously deconstructing complex phenomena into comprehensible structures—such as cycles, sentiment, narratives, and user behavior dynamics. This habit of structuring problems directly influenced LifeKline’s product form.

Traders use K-line charts to make sense of market uncertainty; traditional Chinese astrology is itself a system rooted in time and cyclical patterns. My work functions more like translation: taking abstract cyclical concepts from divination and re-expressing them using visual language familiar to the crypto community. Additionally, working in media and research environments early taught me the importance of boundaries—so I’ve consistently positioned LifeKline as an experiential and content tool, not a predictive or decision-making system.

ChainThink: Why not monetize the donation token and instead continue offering free API access?

Sakura:
Choosing not to monetize the donation token stems from a desire to avoid misinterpretation of intent. If the founder directly profits from the token, it creates a perceived conflict of interest that undermines user trust in the product’s neutrality.

LifeKline is not a finance-first project. Introducing tokenomics too early would distort the product’s original purpose. Instead, I prefer allocating available resources toward infrastructure—such as purchasing API usage, optimizing server performance, and providing free access to the community. For me, preserving the project’s public good nature and maintaining trust boundaries outweigh short-term monetization.

ChainThink: How do you view the evolving role of divination within crypto trading communities?

Sakura:
Divination is not unique to crypto—Wall Street has long harbored similar behaviors, though they remained largely private. The difference in crypto lies in the absence of authoritative narratives coupled with heavy reliance on social media, transforming what was once implicit into explicit discourse.

Many aren’t believers in superstition—they’re seeking psychological anchors amid extreme uncertainty. Divination doesn’t provide answers; it offers companionship, making people feel that “failure has meaning.” LifeKline merely articulates this enduring need in a way that resonates with crypto culture.

ChainThink: What are your plans for LifeKline in terms of product and technology development?

Sakura:
The next phase will focus on improving accuracy and user control—adding features like pre-event calibration, refining charting logic, integrating multiple astrological schools, and enhancing report presentation. We’ll also continue optimizing frontend/backend architecture and API stability.

The English version is already live and supports global users. Future efforts will explore integration with other cultural systems. Our core philosophy remains iterative improvement—not chasing viral explosions. LifeKline is meant to be a continuously evolving toolkit, not a one-hit wonder.

ChainThink: How do you hope users understand and use "LifeKline" correctly?

Sakura:
I hope users treat LifeKline as a tool for self-reflection, not a basis for life decisions. It can help reflect on past experiences, organize emotions, and understand cyclical patterns—but it should never replace rational judgment.

Life cannot be defined by a few K-lines. Ultimately, personal choices determine direction. If this tool provides even a small measure of psychological comfort or companionship at any stage, it has fulfilled its purpose. Finally, thank you all for your continued support of LifeKline.

Conclusion

In an environment of profound uncertainty, what people truly seek isn’t the ability to predict the future, but the psychological resilience to stay at the table. The surge of LifeKline may be nothing less than a collective manifestation of this shared inner state.
