ChainThink report, on February 5, according to market data, Ethereum briefly declined to $1,950, with a 24-hour drop of 9.7%. This is just about $300 above the average liquidation price of $1,640 for Ethereum set by Trend Research, affiliated with Yili Hua.
Since the afternoon of February 1, Trend Research has cumulatively cut positions at an average price of $2,263 over nearly four days, offloading 188,500 ETH (approximately $426 million) and repaying $385 million in USDT to reduce leverage. Currently, the liquidation prices of multiple ETH lending positions held by the entity have dropped into the range of $1,576 to $1,682, primarily concentrated around $1,640.
The current holdings stand at 463,000 ETH (approximately $998 million), with a weighted average cost basis of $3,180, resulting in a total loss of $647 million ($173 million realized loss, $474 million unrealized loss), and leveraged borrowings amounting to $625 million.
