View OriginalChainThink report, March 5: The U.S. Central Command stated that the U.S. military is leveraging a suite of AI tools to rapidly process massive volumes of data generated during operations against Iran. Since the commencement of military strikes last week, the U.S. has targeted over 2,000 objectives, with more than 1,000 struck within the first 24 hours. General Brad Cooper, Commander of the Central Command, described the scale of this operation as nearly "twice" that of the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq.
Colonel Timothy Hawkins, spokesperson for the Central Command, emphasized that artificial intelligence played a pivotal role in operations targeting Iran, enabling preliminary data filtering to allow analysts to focus on higher-level analysis and verification. According to sources, one of the AI technologies deployed in these operations is the digital mission control platform Maven Smart System. As previously disclosed by the U.S. military, this system was developed by Palantir Technologies and integrates data from over 150 distinct sources. Among the suite of large language models installed on this platform is Anthropic’s Claude tool.
