ChainThink report: From late on the 4th to morning of the 5th local time, according to a statement issued by the Israel Defense Forces, Iran launched three missile attacks targeting Tel Aviv, Haifa, and multiple locations in central Israel. Air raid sirens were sounded across Jerusalem and other areas. Hezbollah in Lebanon also launched rocket attacks toward northern Israel. No casualties have been reported so far.
On the evening of the 4th, the Israeli Prime Minister's Office released its first news briefing post-conflict. The prime minister’s spokesperson stated that Iran has been launching multiple missile strikes against Israel daily, with several direct hits on residential zones. The briefing emphasized that Israel is currently conducting sustained counter-strikes against Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon, aiming to neutralize Iran’s threat and completely disarm Hezbollah.
Additionally, the Israel Home Front Command announced that, based on the latest battlefield assessment, defense protocols will be adjusted starting on the 5th. From 12:00 on the 5th to 20:00 on the 7th, all regions will transition from the "essential activity level" to the "limited activity level," effectively lowering the overall defense status—schools will remain closed, but work and limited gatherings may proceed under protective conditions.
