ChainThink report, on March 8, the on-chain collateral protocol OmniPact announced a $50 million private funding round, backed by a consortium comprising institutional investors and family offices. The majority of proceeds will be allocated toward finalizing development and security audits of OmniPact’s core smart contracts and multi-chain infrastructure. These funds will also support the launch of the protocol’s testnet (planned for Q1 2026) and expand the engineering team to accelerate integration of real-world assets (RWA) and AI agent trading functionalities.

OmniPact leverages smart contracts as on-chain collateral, aiming to resolve the "trust issue" in peer-to-peer transactions.
