ChainThink report, March 10: According to official announcements, Advanced Machine Intelligence Labs (AMI Labs), the artificial intelligence company founded by Yann LeCun, former Chief AI Scientist at Meta Platforms, has successfully raised USD 1.03 billion (approximately EUR 890 million). The round was co-led by Cathay Innovation, Greycroft, Hiro Capital, HV Capital, and Bezos Expeditions, with participation from other investors and angel investors worldwide. This funding round values the French startup at USD 3.5 billion.

Although Meta is regarded by LeCun as a "partner, not an investor," it did not participate in this funding round.

Yann LeCun stated that AMI Labs aims to develop an artificial intelligence system with human-level intelligence—capable of reasoning, planning, understanding the physical world, and autonomously learning from minimal training samples.
