View OriginalChainThink News, March 11: Tencent Cloud issued a statement responding to security concerns related to OpenClaw and Tencent's "Lobster" project. Regarding the claim that "OpenClaw may recklessly charge users," Tencent Cloud clarified: "A screenshot circulating on social platforms shows a user allegedly incurring exorbitant fees after installing OpenClaw during Tencent Cloud's Public Welfare Server Setup campaign, with cumulative charges exceeding RMB 200. After backend investigation and verification, these over RMB 200 were found to be historical model invocation costs incurred by the user prior to installation. OpenClaw installation itself is free of charge; however, if large language models are invoked during usage, token-based computational fees will be generated—this is consistent with the economic model adopted by nearly all Agent tools currently available."
