ChainThink report, on March 12, the main development branch of the Bitcoin Core client has merged the Cluster Mempool update (PR #34616), which is expected to be included in the upcoming Bitcoin Core 31.0 release. This upgrade will redesign how nodes manage unconfirmed transactions (mempool) by grouping related transactions for processing, thereby improving block packaging efficiency and optimizing fee calculations for RBF and CPFP transactions.


Bitcoin Core 31.0 is anticipated to be released in the second half of 2026. (CriptoNoticias)
