ChainThink report: On March 15, OpenAI co-founder Andrej Karpathy released a job prospect map covering 342 occupations, reflecting the degree of replaceability by AI in the context of AI development. Rated on a scale of 10, higher scores indicate greater AI replaceability.
The least replaceable roles are physical labor jobs, including roofers, cleaners, construction workers, plumbers, electricians, gardeners, as well as nurses and home care aides.
In contrast, roles involving purely digital input and output—such as medical transcriptionists, software developers, data analysts, legal assistants, and financial analysts—scored higher, indicating stronger AI replaceability.
