Data: To hold one million BTC by the end of 2026, Strategy needs to increase its holdings by 6,158 BTC per week

ChainThink report: To achieve a holding of 1 million BTC by the end of 2026, MicroStrategy (MSTR) must maintain a purchase pace of approximately 6,158 BTC per week over the remaining ~42 weeks of this year. At an average price of $85,000, achieving this target would require acquiring an additional 261,269 BTC, with a total cost of approximately $2.22 billion.

As of last Monday, the company held 738,731 BTC. Since the beginning of 2026, Strategy has accumulated 64,948 BTC in purchases (including 17,994 BTC acquired last week).
