ChainThink report, March 19: Cryptocurrency journalist Eleanor Terrett posted on social media stating that "following a Senate Republican meeting on cryptocurrency market structure (attended by Patrick Witt, Executive Director of the White House Crypto Council), Senator Cynthia Lummis told reporters that negotiations around yield/reward mechanisms are making progress but remain in a 'delicate phase,' with current focus shifting from draft legislative text to 'identifying key stakeholders to secure support.'

Lummis said: 'I believe some important ideas were sparked during this session. So now there’s a clear path forward—one that wasn’t what I anticipated before entering the meeting.' Patrick Witt appeared visibly disheartened after the session and declined to comment. Senator Tim Scott, as ever, exited with a smile but refused to comment, stating he would not grant interviews in the hallway.
