ChainThink report, March 23: According to public speaking records, Trump attributed the decision for military action against Iran to Defense Secretary Peter Hegseth during his remarks.

Trump stated that he personally called Defense Secretary Peter Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Caine, recommending military action in the Middle East to address the Iranian issue.

At the event, Trump addressed Peter Hegseth directly: “I remember you were the first to speak up—you said, ‘Let’s move forward; we cannot allow them to acquire nuclear weapons.’”
