View OriginalChainThink report: According to an official announcement, OpenAI has unveiled the first batch of partner institutions for its "Trusted Access for Cyber" initiative, totaling 14 organizations, nearly half of which are Wall Street financial institutions, including Bank of America, BlackRock, BNY Mellon, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and Morgan Stanley. Additional participants include cybersecurity firms CrowdStrike, Zscaler, SpecterOps, and iVerify, as well as technology leaders Cisco, NVIDIA, and Oracle.
These partner institutions will gain access to GPT-5.4-Cyber, enabling them to strengthen their digital infrastructure's security defenses.
OpenAI also announced a $10 million API allocation through its "Cybersecurity Grant Program," targeting open-source security and vulnerability research teams. Initial recipients include software supply chain security firm Socket, Semgrep, and vulnerability research organizations Calif and Trail of Bits.
Furthermore, OpenAI has granted GPT-5.4-Cyber access to the U.S. Center for AI Standards and Innovation (CAISI) and the UK AI Safety Institute (UK AISI), allowing both entities to evaluate the model’s cybersecurity capabilities and safety mitigation measures.
