Bloomberg: SkyBridge Capital's flagship fund posts losses for two consecutive quarters due to cryptocurrency positions

ChainThink report, according to Bloomberg, Anthony Scaramucci’s SkyBridge Capital flagship fund, SkyBridge Opportunity Fund, recorded losses for two consecutive quarters due to exposure to cryptocurrency-related positions.

The fund, with an asset size of approximately $1.3 billion, has 64% of its holdings allocated to cryptocurrencies and digital assets, including digital asset hedge funds, Bitcoin investment vehicles, and crypto-related private equity firms.

Disclosure data shows the fund declined by 12.9% in Q1 2026 and had already dropped 18% in Q4 2025.

Its top three holdings are Brevan Howard Digital Asset Multi-Strategy Fund (17.5%), Galaxy Institutional Bitcoin Fund (9.58%), and Canada’s Purpose Bitcoin ETF (8.79%).

Additionally, the fund has limited redemption requests from investors in its recent public tender. A total of 792,633.965 shares were submitted for redemption, but the fund redeemed only 64,378.34 shares proportionally, representing just 8.1% of the submitted redemption volume.
