ChainThink report, June 7: According to Bloomberg, Anthropic PBC has finalized a $35 billion debt financing facility arranged by Apollo Global Management Inc. and Blackstone Inc., with the funds earmarked for procuring Google-customized TPUs and utilizing them via leasing agreements to expand its artificial intelligence infrastructure.

According to informed sources, the debt financing was structured into three distinct tranches with separate pricing.

Broadcom will provide payment guarantees for the largest senior debt tranche, while Morgan Stanley serves as transaction advisor and assists in structuring the financing. Approximately half of the $35 billion debt facility has already been syndicated to other investors for co-ownership.

This financing arrangement ranks among the largest private credit transactions in history, underscoring the intense competition among top-tier financial institutions to fund AI data center construction and the specialized chips required, reflecting the unprecedented capital demand in the AI sector.
