NVIDIA Launches "AI Computing Partnership Program": Securing Revenue Shares and Equity from Cloud Providers in Exchange for Computational Power Backing

ChainThink report, July 2: According to recent reports, NVIDIA is advancing its "AI Compute Partnership Program," offering capacity guarantees to early-stage cloud service providers by underwriting compute power.

If the GPUs acquired by these partners fail to be leased out, NVIDIA will finance the buyback of idle compute capacity, in return receiving a share of cloud service revenues or equity stakes.

This arrangement provides credit enhancement for startups with lower credit ratings and limited fundraising capabilities, enabling them to secure loans necessary for data center construction and GPU procurement.

The report notes that NVIDIA previously committed to guaranteeing up to $6.3 billion in unsold compute capacity for CoreWeave, extending through 2032;

and more recently, has been negotiating similar financial guarantees for OpenAI’s planned $500 billion large-scale data center project.
