谷歌承诺投入440亿美元用于数据中心租赁项目的担保

ChainThink 消息，7 月 29 日，据 The Information 报道，谷歌上周披露，已同意在租户违约时，为最高 440 亿美元的第三方数据中心租赁款项提供担保。

该规模较截至 9 月底的 65 亿美元明显上升。报道称，相关承诺被称为“后援保障”，用于扩大谷歌 TPU 销售规模，并支持向 Anthropic 等公司提供替代英伟达 AI 芯片的方案。

两位消息人士称，谷歌作出上述承诺的依据是，TPU 销售收入预计将超过为数据中心租赁担保产生的财务义务。Alphabet 已为约十个项目、合计约 2.4 吉瓦容量提供租赁担保；

这些项目目前均未完工，因此担保尚未生效。
