美财政部制裁两家为霍尔木兹海峡通行提供比特币支付的伊朗公司
ChainThink 消息，7 月 31 日，据 Decrypt 报道，美国财政部 OFAC 周三制裁两家伊朗公司，称其涉及强制商船购买 IRGC 背景「保险」以通过霍尔木兹海峡。
其中，HormuzSafe Marine Services Authority 由伊朗经济部开发，接受比特币及其他数字资产付款。OFAC 称，该模式是规避西方制裁的手段之一。
今年 4 月，《金融时报》曾报道称伊朗拟对过境船只征收加密货币「通行费」，当时部分区块链分析人士对此持怀疑态度。此次同一行动中，美国财政部还制裁了 8 艘伊朗原油运输油轮及其运营方；
自今年 1 月以来，已有超百艘「影子船队」船只被制裁。
