Chromium太重,Cloudflare给Agent重造浏览器

ChainThink 消息,8 月 7 日,Cloudflare 面向 AI Agent 推出浏览器引擎 Kitesurf,不再依赖 Chromium,可直接运行在 Cloudflare Workers 上,目前已开放测试,后续计划开源。

Cloudflare 认为,Agent 上网不需要标签页、主题、扩展等传统浏览器功能,也不追求像素级还原网页,继续启动完整 Chromium 会消耗大量算力和内存。

测试显示,Kitesurf 的 CPU 用量约为 Chromium 的三分之一,内存最低约为七分之一;

但任务完成时间增加约 70% 至 80%,优势主要在于节省资源、支持同时运行更多 Agent。

Kitesurf 已接入 Cloudflare Browser Run,支持 Puppeteer、Playwright、MCP 和 CDP 调用,测试期免费;

目前尚不支持视频、WebGL、部分反机器人验证和长期登录会话,复杂网页仍需使用 Chromium。
