ChainThink News, August 12: According to market data, semiconductor, optoelectronics, and memory stocks rose across the board during pre-market trading, with Lumentum (LITE) up 7.73%, Nokia (NOK) up 6.36%.

Semiconductor stocks saw broad gains, with Marvell Technology (MRVL) up 3.08%, Micron Technology (MU) up 2.36%, Intel (INTC) up 2.19%, Applied Materials (AMAT) up 2.17%, and Lam Research (LRCX) up 2.13%.

Optoelectronics-related stocks led the rally, with Coherent (COHR) up 5.12%, Applied Optoelectronics (AAOI) up 4.07%, Corning (GLW) up 3.02%, and Ciena (CIEN) up 2.97%.

The memory sector also strengthened, with SanDisk (SNDK) up 3.38%, SK Hynix up 3.09%, Western Digital (WDC) up 2.53%, and Seagate Technology (STX) up 2.05%.
