ChainThink report, on August 18, Cursor officially launched the early Beta of its code hosting platform Origin and began rolling it out to all paid plan users.

Origin enables users to host repositories, manage PRs, and browse code directly within Cursor, with Agents capable of modifying code and pushing branches seamlessly. The platform also supports synchronizing existing GitHub repositories and PRs, with comments synchronized bidirectionally.

For projects imported from GitHub, GitHub remains the primary repository, eliminating the need for migration. Origin had briefly surfaced last week, granting early access to select users before Cursor acknowledged the accidental exposure and promptly disabled access.
