a16z募集11亿美元新基金，聚焦AI运行全套基础设施建设

ChainThink 消息，8 月 28 日，据 a16z 官方公告，硅谷风险投资机构 a16z 宣布为最新基金 Machine Age Fund（机器时代基金）募资 11 亿美元，将重点投资支撑 AI 运行的全套计算基础设施。

该基金投资范围涵盖芯片、内存、网络、存储、数据中心、机器人及家庭 AI 设备等完整系统。

a16z 表示，过去一年 AI 在应用能力和工作类型上出现明显拐点，从聊天、推理向编程等知识工作拓展，对算力和 Token 的需求呈数量级增长。

a16z 称，其团队拥有硬件、数据中心、芯片、网络及大规模计算系统经验，并已建立覆盖市场拓展、人才招聘、营销、客户、供应商及美国制造业的资源网络，将支持新一代 AI 硬件创业者。
