ChainThink message, September 14: According to a post on the X platform, Maxime Prades, Product Lead at SpaceX AI, confirmed that the company is consolidating Grok and Cursor subscription plans, with the new unified system expected to be ready within several weeks.

Previously, users have criticized the current subscription structure for being convoluted, suggesting that only two subscription tiers—X and Cursor—should remain, with Cursor Pro included in X Premium+, and Grok Build discontinued.

Prades did not confirm the specific proposal but stated that the new unified plan is under active development and invited the user to preview it early and provide feedback.

Under the current system, Cursor Pro, Pro+, and Ultra all include access to Grok Bot; SuperGrok and X Premium+ also enable Grok Bot access for Cursor accounts;

however, Grok Bot usage limits are not cumulative across platforms, and subscriptions continue to be billed separately. The Cursor community has recently raised repeated inquiries regarding the choice between SuperGrok Heavy and Cursor Ultra, as well as whether usage quotas are shared.
