ChainThink report, on October 8, according to market data, Bitcoin briefly fell below $82,300, now rebounding near $82,500, with a 24-hour drop of 1.94%, having broken through the recent key support level at $83,000.

FxPro previously stated that if BTC breaks below $83,000 effectively, sellers may reassert control over the market, potentially driving prices swiftly toward $80,000. This decline coincides with rising macroeconomic risks.

Reports indicate that the White House has instructed the Pentagon to develop military strike plans targeting Iran, prompting Brent crude to rise approximately 2%, reclaiming above $102 per barrel;

U.S. 10-year Treasury yields climbed to 5.31%, nearing their highest levels since 2002, further pressuring risk asset performance.

Mainstream crypto assets generally weakened, with XRP dropping nearly 4% to $1.42, DOGE down around 3%, ETH falling about 3% to $2,570, and both HYPE and SOL declining more than 2%.

On the previous day, approximately $550 million in leveraged positions across the crypto market were liquidated, mostly long-side positions.

Bitcoin's consecutive two days of declines have consistently coincided with rising oil prices and elevated U.S. Treasury yields; should Brent crude fall back below $100 per barrel, it could alleviate some pressure on risk assets currently.
