ChainThink report, October 9: CryptoQuant analyst MAC_D stated that Bitcoin has retraced from $87,027 on October 5 to $80,404 on October 9, a decline of approximately 7.61%, nearing the average pullback of 7.58% observed during the 2022–2025 bull cycle and below the historical overall average pullback of 14.39%.

Data shows that the average pullbacks for the bull cycles from 2010–2011, 2011–2013, 2015–2017, and 2018–2021 were 18.41%, 21.71%, 10.93%, and 19.39%, respectively.

MAC_D noted that if calculated using the historical overall average pullback of 14.39%, the corresponding price level at recent highs would be approximately $74,500.

He also suggested investors consider gradually accumulating BTC around $80,000 and increasing buying activity within the $74,000–$75,000 range.
