ChainThink report, on October 27, Bitcoin broke below $80,000, dipping as low as $79,700 during the session; Ethereum declined 0.5%, while the DeFi index dropped 1.8%.

Meanwhile, South Korea's Composite Stock Price Index rose 3.1%, and Asian tech stocks strengthened, yet the crypto market failed to follow suit. The Federal Reserve commenced its two-day monetary policy meeting on Tuesday, with rate decisions scheduled for release on Wednesday.

CME FedWatch data indicates that the market assigns approximately a 90% probability to holding rates steady, with traders closely monitoring potential for further hikes within the year.

Puts remain dominant in options markets: the most actively traded Bitcoin option over the past 24 hours was a put expiring on December 25 with a strike price of $72,000; all term-specific 25 Delta put/call skew values remain positive.
