Salus: CryptoBilis hackers split and transferred 1,200 ETH to Tornado Cash, equivalent to approximately $2.78 million

ChainThink report, October 27: According to Salus monitoring, the attacker behind the CryptoBilis theft incident has transferred another 1,200 ETH to Tornado Cash, valued at approximately $2.78 million.

The attacker first sent 600.1 ETH each to two new wallets via an address starting with 0x468.

Subsequently, both wallets completed six deposits totaling 100 ETH each to Tornado Cash within approximately two and a half minutes.

This incident occurred on October 9 and involved users who purchased Ledger devices through Southeast Asian distributors via CryptoBilis.

According to Salus citing Bitquery estimates, the total losses across multiple blockchains amounted to approximately $102 million.
