ChainThink report, November 4: According to on-chain investigator ZachXBT's updated findings, Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, a French bank, is suspected to be the EU institution previously targeted in an attack, with funds involved exceeding $133 million.

ZachXBT stated that the bank's asset size is approximately $23.5 billion. Previously, ZachXBT disclosed that the institution was likely compromised on November 1; subsequently, additional withdrawals exceeding $27 million were identified, some occurring after the initial disclosure.

He indicated that based on multiple indicators of money laundering behavior, it is highly unlikely that the attackers are affiliated with the Lazarus Group, though the true perpetrators remain unidentified, and he questioned the institution’s insufficient transparency regarding the incident.
