ChainThink report, October 14, as the U.S. government shutdown entered its 14th day without any signs of resolution, the White House Office of Management and Budget stated that it would continue to reduce federal agency staff, while ensuring that military personnel and federal law enforcement officers continue to receive their salaries.

The White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) posted on social media: "OMB is fully prepared and ready to face the Democrats' stubborn position. Paying military salaries, paying law enforcement salaries, continuing with layoffs, and waiting for developments."

Last Friday, the White House Office of Management and Budget implemented the first round of staff reductions, cutting over 4,000 federal employees, further escalating the government funding deadlock and the confrontation with the Democrats. (Jin10)
