ChainThink report, October 31, Pi Network Ventures announced a strategic investment in OpenMind and officially launched technical collaboration. The core technologies of OpenMind include the OM1 operating system, which is hardware-agnostic, and the FABRIC protocol. Together, they enable robots to collectively learn and collaborate within a decentralized ecosystem.

Through Pi Network's distributed computing power and its global network composed of 350,000 nodes, OpenMind has successfully completed the first proof of concept (PoC) for deploying a distributed computing AI model for robots. OpenMind is able to deploy AI models used for facial recognition in robots on the OM1 operating system in a decentralized manner, reducing costs and dependencies associated with traditional centralized cloud computing. Furthermore, it enhances multiple layers of privacy protection in embodied intelligence deployment scenarios through verifiable, permissionless methods.

Pi Network Ventures stated that investing in OpenMind is not only a capital allocation but also an important step in building technical and ecological synergistic capabilities for Pi Network in the era dominated by physical AI and embodied intelligence.
