ChainThink report, on November 9, the Ministry of Science and Technology of Sierra Leone officially signed a memorandum of understanding with Sign, ushering in a new chapter in the construction of the national blockchain infrastructure. The first phase of cooperation will focus on building a digital identity system (Digital ID) and a local stablecoin payment system, aiming to provide safe, transparent, and inclusive digital services to all citizens at a very low cost, promoting the country's leapfrog development.

During this visit, the Sign team also met with the Minister of Finance of Sierra Leone, the Governor of the Central Bank, the CEO of eGov App, and representatives of the Christex Foundation, reaching consensus on technical roadmaps, policy coordination, and implementation plans.
