According to Cryptonews, the crypto donation platform The Giving Block has processed nearly $100 million in cryptocurrency donations this year. Among the types of donated assets, Bitcoin remains the most popular choice, followed by stablecoins USDT, USDC, and the recently added RLUSD—a blockchain-based asset pegged to the US dollar. The platform states that since its founding in 2018, the cumulative total of crypto donations processed is approaching $300 million. Notably, approximately 30% of donations are concentrated in December, highlighting a seasonal trend toward year-end charitable giving.
