In response to allegations by Monad ecosystem developers accusing Wintermute of acting as both a market maker and shorting MON, Wintermute founder Evgeny Gaevoy denied the claims, stating, "Do not make unsubstantiated statements." When asked by community members whether he holds long positions, Evgeny replied: "In fact, yes."
