ChainThink News, December 9: According to Cointelegraph, Tether's USDT has received "Fiat-Reference Token" certification from the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), enabling licensed institutions to conduct regulated transactions, custody services, and other activities involving USDT within a compliant regulatory framework. This certification marks a pivotal advancement for USDT within Abu Dhabi’s regulatory ecosystem, significantly expanding its application potential in cross-border settlements, institutional custody, and payment use cases.
