ChainThink report, December 11: The Polish government resubmitted the previously vetoed cryptocurrency bill, identical in content to the original version with no modifications. This move has intensified tensions between President Karol Nawrocki and Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The bill proposes designating the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) as the primary regulatory body for the national crypto asset market.
Despite criticisms that the bill is overly bureaucratic, the government spokesperson stated that Nawrocki is unlikely to veto it again at this stage, given his full awareness of its implications on national security. (Cointelegraph)
