Whale sell-off and community controversy trigger AAVE price volatility: "Large-scale shorting of AAVE" — Whale opens a new 7x short position

ChainThink report, December 24: According to Hyperinsight monitoring, following a sharp price volatility in AAVE token triggered by whale sell-offs and escalating community disputes within the Aave ecosystem, an address starting with 0x3c7 has opened a new 7x leveraged short position on AAVE on Hyperliquid, with a position size of $2.42 million, average entry price at $151, liquidation price at $173, currently showing a modest unrealized profit of 17%, making it the largest AAVE short position on Hyperliquid.


In addition to this position, the address has placed a limit sell order for approximately $780,000 at $154, which remains unfilled. Furthermore, take-profit and stop-loss orders have been set for the existing position: a take-profit reduction planned at $136 and a stop-loss reduction scheduled at $196.
