ChainThink message, December 25: According to MLM monitoring, on Hyperliquid, approximately $1.49 million worth of FOGO short positions (pre-market) were just liquidated in a concentrated cascade within 15 minutes as FOGO surged by 550%.

This chain of liquidations also triggered an automatic deleveraging (ADL) for a long-position wallet, locking in roughly $500,000 in profits in under 30 minutes. Notably, this wallet had established its long position via TWAP about 7 hours prior and was using a newly created wallet address.

The largest single liquidation came from a wallet that continued shorting FOGO during the squeeze (effectively pouring fuel on the fire). Its isolated short position was system-protected liquidated within 10 minutes, resulting in a loss of approximately $100,000 in USDC margin against a notional value of $224,000.
