View OriginalChainThink report, on December 29, Ubisoft's online service for Rainbow Six: Siege was suspended due to a hacker intrusion. After the breach, hackers distributed 2 billion in-game tokens R6 to each player. Ubisoft previously sold R6 tokens at $99.99 per 15,000, meaning it would cost players approximately $13.33 million to acquire 2 billion R6 tokens—used to purchase rare items such as skins and firearms.
The Rainbow Six: Siege development team announced they are actively working to reverse the abnormal R6 token distribution within the game, and have already begun implementing rollback measures.
