The World Cup is approaching, and prediction markets have already heated up.

With over a month of competition and 104 matches spanning from group stages to knockout rounds, different teams take the spotlight daily, generating fresh discussion points every day.

As a result, the two leading platforms in the prediction market—Polymarket and Kalshi—have already secured their positions ahead of the tournament. Polymarket launched a dedicated World Cup section, though it currently lacks a standalone prize pool and may still rely on Liquidity Providers (LPs) for incentives; Kalshi, meanwhile, has allocated a $1 million prize pool for champion predictions, but participation requires U.S.-based KYC verification.

However, the excitement surrounding World Cup prediction markets isn't limited to Polymarket and Kalshi alone. As the event draws near, major exchanges are also joining the surge in prediction activity. Below, Odaily Planet Daily walks you through each exchange’s World Cup prediction initiatives.

Binance: predict.fun as the Gateway to World Cup Prediction Market, Dual Campaigns with Total Prize Pool Exceeding $2.3 Million

Among all publicly announced World Cup prediction market activities, Binance’s ecosystem partner predict.fun offers the largest reward pool.

Notably, both Binance’s main platform and Binance Wallet have integrated the third-party on-chain prediction market platform predict.fun, opening access to probabilistic trading for users. Thus, Binance’s World Cup prediction campaign is centered around predict.fun.

To be specific, predict.fun’s World Cup campaign consists of two components. First, the “Predict Cup” event launched on the predict.fun platform, featuring a total prize pool of $2 million. Second, Binance Wallet has co-launched a Football Season PNL Trading Challenge with predict.fun, offering a $300,000 prize pool.

The “Predict Cup” event leans more toward full-tournament gameplay (official website: https://predict.fun/world-cup). Users can select up to five teams they support and make predictions across various markets including match outcomes, scores, and goal counts, accumulating Fan Points to compete for shares in the prize pool. The amount of rewards a user receives depends on their ranking at the end of each round, distributed immediately after each round concludes. The top-ranked player always receives 15% of the prize pool per round, increasing to 20% in the final match. The breakdown of available prize pools per round is as follows:

Group Stage: $70,000 per group;

Round of 32 Knockout: $25,000 per match;

Round of 16 Knockout: $30,000 per match;

Quarterfinals: $40,000 per match;

Semifinals: $50,000 per match;

Final: $260,000.

The $300,000 PNL trading contest between Binance Wallet and predict.fun (promoted at the top of Binance Wallet’s official X account) focuses more on trading performance rankings. Users must register via the campaign page and conduct trades within the World Cup category markets on either Binance’s main platform or within the predict.fun interface inside Binance Wallet. Final rankings are determined by realized P&L generated during the campaign period. Top 500 users meeting eligibility criteria will receive rewards, with the champion earning $50,000.

OKX: Free Points Collection for Predictions, Prize Pool Cap at 16.6 BTC

Differing from Binance, OKX’s World Cup campaign does not integrate with third-party prediction markets. Instead, it is built upon the platform’s self-developed prediction market system. Users do not need to directly invest funds to participate in World Cup prediction events; instead, they earn points by completing tasks and then use those points to engage in tournament predictions.

From an accessibility standpoint, OKX’s model favors “free prediction + task-based incentives.” Users can earn points through activities such as signing up for the event, daily check-ins, predicting matches, completing new user tasks, and inviting friends. These points can then be used to place predictions on World Cup-related events.

Regarding the prize pool, OKX employs a dynamic unlock mechanism. With nearly 80,000 participants currently, the prize pool stands at 4 BTC (approximately $247,000 in value). Once participation exceeds 400,000 users, the prize pool reaches its cap of 16.6 BTC (approximately $1.02 million in value). Specifically, users can earn points through five primary methods:

Predicting World Cup matches, earning points;

Signing up for the event, receiving immediate points;

New users completing tasks and signing up for the event, receiving points immediately;

Inviting friends who complete new user tasks, receiving points immediately;

Daily check-ins, earning points.

Bybit: Earn Points via Trading, Predict Matches, Total Prize Pool Up to $1 Million

Bybit’s World Cup campaign, titled Football Season 2026, revolves around trading missions and football match predictions, with a maximum total prize pool of $1 million.

The campaign operates on a “trade to earn points, use points for predictions” model. Users first complete designated trading tasks to accumulate Points, which they then use to forecast football match outcomes. Correct predictions multiply the earned points by a community multiplier; incorrect predictions result in corresponding point deductions.

The event is divided into three phases: group stage, knockout stage, and final. Each phase settles independently. Users who earn at least 30 net points in a single phase become eligible to claim a share of that phase’s prize pool, with final rewards distributed proportionally based on net point holdings among qualified users.

Gate: Launches World Cup Hub, Unveils “Green Field Prophet” Campaign with $500,000 Prize Pool

Currently, Gate has launched the “Green Field Prophet” limited-time World Cup campaign. During the event, users who register and complete tasks across spot trading, derivatives, CFDs, VIP upgrades, and multiple business lines receive prediction market experience vouchers and betting coupons. They can use these to participate in designated football match prediction markets on Gate Polymarket, aiming to climb the leaderboard, win the ultimate champion prediction, claim VIP jersey gift boxes, and join live draw giveaways.

The total prize pool exceeds $500,000, including prediction market experience vouchers, USDT rewards, trading cashback, and limited-edition football-themed merchandise.

Bitget: Main Campaign Focus on Bitget Wallet, Launches $200,000 Event

Bitget’s World Cup initiative is primarily centered around Bitget Wallet. On the product side, Bitget Wallet has integrated Polymarket’s World Cup prediction market, enabling users to directly participate in on-chain predictions within the wallet while accessing AI analysis, smart fund tracking, and other auxiliary tools.

Building on this entry point, Bitget Wallet has launched the 2026 FIFA World Cup Prediction Market campaign with a total prize pool of $200,000, featuring the following activities:

Champion Prediction Contest: $20,000 prize pool. Users select their predicted champion team and earn points by inviting friends. Those who correctly guess the champion split the prize pool proportionally based on their accumulated points. This mode requires no trading, offering low barrier to entry;

20-Day Consecutive Prediction Streak: $80,000 prize pool. Users participate in designated prediction markets daily during the campaign period. Meeting requirements unlocks rewards, with a daily maximum of $10 and a total campaign cap of $200;

Social Viewing Party: $50,000 prize pool. After joining Bitget Wallet’s viewing channel, users can participate in random red packets and exclusive airdrops during live matches;

First-Time Trade Protection: $50,000 prize pool. New users engaging in prediction markets for the first time can receive compensation from Bitget Wallet if they incur losses—limited spots available on a first-come, first-served basis.
